Shoolini Maa Temple Solan

The Shoolini Mata Mandir is dedicated to Shoolini Mata. Which is said to be the incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple is one of the prime attractions of Solan. It is said that the town of Solan was also named after Shoolini Mata, who is the deity presiding inside the temple.  The shrine gathers huge crowds during the festival season, especially during the Shoolini Mela.

 Where the shrine of the deity is carried around the town, attracting pilgrims and other devotees to visit the beautifully decorated market and the temple itself.r. The temple looks beautiful in the night when it is completely illuminated and is crowded on holidays and festivals. 

Other highlights of the fair are activities like dancing, singing and wrestling .The fair attracts traders, sweet sellers, general merchants and shopkeepers from the neighbouring town.
