Founded in 1967 by the visionary Shri Jawala Prasad Verma, Verma Jewellers has been a trusted name in the heart of Solan. With the support of his eldest son, Shri Naresh Chand Verma, the father-son duo worked tirelessly to establish a solid foundation for the brand. Over the next 25 years, their dedication and vision led to the expansion of the store, which culminated in the establishment of the present shop in 1995.

In 2002, the business saw the addition of a new generation when Akshay Verma, after completing his education in Gemology, Diamond Grading, and Jewellery Manufacturing from the prestigious Indian Diamond Institute, Surat, joined his father. Akshay brought with him a fresh perspective and drive, focusing on business development, product innovation, and systems administration.

A significant milestone under Akshay’s leadership was obtaining the Hallmarked Certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for 100% Hallmarked Jewellery, making Verma Jewellers the first in Himachal Pradesh to achieve this distinction in September 2002. His forward-thinking approach has been instrumental in the brand’s continued success and growth.

Akshay Verma, a new-age professional, has been the driving force behind the transformation of Verma Jewellers. Since joining the family business in 2000 at the age of 21, his passion and business acumen have propelled the brand to new heights. What started as a modest 5-employee operation has now grown into a renowned jewellery brand with over 60 employees. The store itself has expanded from 700 sq. ft. to a stunning 3,500 sq. ft. showroom, offering customers a unique and delightful jewellery experience.
